Findhorn

A three-bedroom house for a family who asked for a light and airy home, which celebrated their outdoor lifestyle on the Moray coast.
The vaulted upstairs living area affords both privacy from neighbours, and views across the adjacent dunelands. The toplit space flows down a handcrafted spiral staircase into the entrance hall. All internal joinery items – trusses, stair, sills are made from Scottish-grown timber such as Douglas fir and pine.
A Woodfire boiler stove, coupled with solar thermal panels, supplys the heating for the water and radiators in the house.
